In this lecture, we intent to explore the issue related to inter-firm business or B2B. The technologies of the Internet allows closer links between business partners. We will discuss the evolution of B2B technologies. Particular attention will be devoted to the Covisint platform. The push-pull strategy will be presented. We will discuss how to transform supply chain using the information technology. We will examine the development of B2B technology, from the early EDI, to the B2B platforms and Web services.
