    Dr. Jacques Nantel is Professor of Marketing at l'École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal. He received a DBA from Indiana University in 1985 and since he has been active in teaching, research and consulting. Dr Nantel is author or co-author of four marketing books. He has also published several articles in journals such as the European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Social Behavior and Personality, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Cultural Economics and in Advances in Consumer Behavior.  In 2000 he received the presitious «Leaders in Management Education» award bestowed by the Financial Post. In 2002 the AMA, Montreal chapter,  granted him the title of «Personality of the year » for his contribution to the advancement of the  marketing profession..
