Dans le monde des affaires, l’histoire de Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien et de sa femme Nan-b est unique. D’un côté, on trouve un Québécois fraîchement émoulu de Harvard, déterminé à aller au-delà des réussites de ses ancêtres et à conquérir à tout prix celle qu’il a choisie, dans un coup de foudre, pour l’épauler dans son ambition. De l’autre, une blonde Américaine, jeune et belle, à qui le monde est ouvert, et qui se laisse séduire par un projet de vie hors du commun, loin des siens, de sa langue et de son pays. Philippe a été «maire» de l'Expo 67 et président de Télémédia.

The story of Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien and his wife Nan-b is a unique one in the business world. On the one hand, it is the story of a Quebecker fresh out of Harvard who was determined to surpass the accomplishments of his ancestors and to win the heart, at all costs, of the woman he had fallen in love with and elected to support him in his aspirations. On the other hand, it is the story of a young and beautiful, blond American woman with the world at her feet, who let herself be seduced by an extraordinary life project that took her far from her family, her language and her country. Philippe was the «mayor» of Expo 67 and president of Télémédia inc.
