GENERAL DISCUSSION
This tool allows users to post discussions on the site. It is an ideal place to have debates and discussions. By default, WSS contains a bulletin board entitled General Discussion.

START A DISCUSSION
Click on the option "Add new discussion" on the home page to start a new thread.



You can now  post a message.


 
Click on the button ­"Save and Close" to publish your post.

ACCESS POSTS
Not all discussions will appear on the home page due to space limitations. To view all posts, you have to click on "General Discussion" on the home page or on the Quick Launch on the left on the home page.



You can now see the titles of all discussions.  Click on a title to view the discussion.



REPLY TO A POST
Once you have viewed the post,  click on the button ''Reply'' to answer.



You can now type your message. Once you have finished, click on ''OK''.
