Work at the Chair in Strategic Management of Information Technologies addresses the means that companies may use to augment their capacity to select, deploy and implement information technologies in such a manner as to have a real impact on organizational performance.  To this end, our research specifically addresses:

• Strategic alignment of information technologies: the quality of fit between corporate strategy, I.T. strategy, corporate structure and I.T. structure

• The role of information technologies in emerging organizational forms; in particular, those that integrate the value chains of business partners

• The governance of the I.T. function, the structure of the I.T. department and management of the risk inherent in I.T. outsourcing

• Risk management in information technologies projects.
