Introduction
Several businesses face qualified labour shortages and have difficulties recruiting talented personnel. In light of this situation, it appears necessary to create strong bonds between organizations and their employees. At the center of this preoccupation is employee commitment.
The Canada Research Chair in the Management of Employee Commitment and Performance, created April 22nd 2005 under the Canada Research Chairs program, aims at advancing knowledge on commitment in order to improve employee performance, retention and well-being.
