Gilpert Laporte is Canada's third most influential researcher in the field of business, according to HiBAR, the Hirsch-Indes Benchmarking of Academic Research, 2012.

Leandro C. Coehlo and Marie-ève Rancourt each win the Esdras-Minville prize awarded by HEC Montréal for the best articles written by Ph.D. students, 2012.

Julie Paquette receives the Jim Davey Award from the Canadian Transportation Research Forum for the best doctoral paper by a student in Canada, 2011.

Gerardo Berbeglia is awarded the Prix Mercure and the Cecil Graham Prize of the Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society for his Ph.D. thesis entitled "Complexity Analyses and Algorithms for Pickup and Delivery Problems", supervised by J.-F. Cordeau and G. Laporte, 2011 and 2010.
