The Risk Management Society Inc., or RIMS, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management. Founded in 1950, RIMS serves Risk Management professionals in nearly 4,500 businesses and organizations and 96 local chapters throughout the United States and Canada. In Canada, there are RIMS chapters from coast to coast, one of them is Québec QRIMA.

Québec Risk and Insurance Management Association (QRIMA) has for mission to provide a professional and educational forum to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas, consistent with the RIMS’s objectives, between its members regular of associate, potential members, and the Risk Management community at large.

There is also a brief explanation on course syllabus MET 3130 – Structure du processus de gestion des risques – offered by the Université du Québec à Montréal.

QRIMA is offering many conferences and luncheons with different topics that might be of interest to non-members. Non-members are always welcome.

The website also provides links with large brokers and many insurance companies.
